In addition to its latest UltraSmart monitors, Dell is also unveiling its latest range of XPS laptops ahead CES 2024. The new lineup includes two new models, a 14-inch and 16-inch, as well as a revamped of its currently existing XPS 13 laptop range.
The new XPS lineup is also brings all laptop models in line with Intel’s 14th Gen Meteor Lake architecture that also features on-device AI and AI-enabled features heavily. Starting with the XPS 16, the laptop comes with a large 16.3-inch Full HD or 4K display high refresh rate displays, up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H mobile CPU, up to 64GB LPDDR5x running at 7,467MT/s, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 60W, and a 99.5Whr battery.
Moving down the lineup, the XPS 14 officially brings Dell into the realm of the 14-inch form factor laptops. In terms of power and hardware, this new series can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 165H mobile CPU with a maximum boost clock of 5GHz, as much as 64GB LPDDR5x RAM running at 7,460MT/s, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 30W discrete GPU, which is powerful enough for some light to moderate gaming sessions. For its display, you’re looking at a choice between a 14.5-inch FHD+ or 3.2K (3,200 x 2,000) panel with a peak brightness of 500 nits, as well as Dell’s Infinity Edge display technology. Battery-wise, the panel runs with a 69.5Whr.
Last but not least is the revamped XPS 13. Of the three, this model is a lean, mean, Intel-only machine. What we mean by that is the laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 165H mobile CPU and integrated ARC graphics, up to 64GB LPDDR5x dual-channel RAM at 7,467MT/s, and up to 4TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. The display is a 13.4-inch panel but consumers will have a choice between an FHD+, QHD+, or 3K+ Infinity Edge display, with the last option being an OLED panel
The new XPS 13, 14, and 16 laptops will be available from the end of February 2024 onwards. Pricing for each laptop will begin from RM5,499 for the 13, RM8,499 for the 14, and RM8,999 for the 16.
