LG today unveiled its latest and upcoming lineup of UltraGear gaming monitors and sitting on top the pedestal is the 32GS95UE. The monitor is a 32-inch 4K OLED monitor but as it is with the latest and greatest of a brand’s lineup, it’s loaded with updates and some new features.
“LG’s new lineup of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors elevates the gaming experience with groundbreaking technologies and a variety of sizes and form factors,” YS Lee, vice president and head of the IT business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company, said. “LG is dedicated to leading the gaming monitor segment and meeting gamers’ needs, designing innovative products that deliver a deeply satisfying visual and audio performance.”
The first new feature to the UltraGear 4K OLED monitor is Dual-Hz. The feature basically allows users to switch between 4K with a 240Hz refresh rate or FHD with a whopping 480Hz. Even more impressive is that the official fluff says that users will be able to do this with a simple click of a button on the monitor itself. Additionally, and regardless of the refresh rate, the monitor has a 0.03ms GTG response time.
Next on the list, the new UltraGear 4K OLED monitor also features a new built-in speaker system using LG’s new Pixel Sound technology. Technically speaking, it is a combination of front-facing speakers and two woofers, creating a three-dimensional soundscape, and support for DTS Virtual: X. These speakers are hidden directly into the back of the OLED panel. Other specifications include NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility and FreeSync Premium Pro, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a USB-C port capable of 65W charging.
At the time of writing, there is still no local pricing and availability for the new LG UltraGear 4K OLED monitor.
