Tecno has posted a new teaser on its Facebook page announcing that the company is indeed bringing in another budget smartphone into the Malaysian market, the Spark 20 Pro. The phone was unveiled just a couple of weeks ago as the higher-end variant of the Spark 20.
The Spark 20 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Dynamic Port feature. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of upgradable storage, although it’s unknown if the Malaysian version will get the same configuration. For protection, the affordable device features IP53 dust and water resistance.
On the back, the Spark 20 Pro is equipped with a 108MP main camera along with a depth sensor while the display itself houses a 32MP selfie unit. For the battery inside the phone, it carries a capacity of 5,000mAh and comes with support for 33W charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and it has a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Spark 20 Pro was revealed with for distinct colourways but from the Malaysian page’s teaser, there might only be two options coming here: the Moonlit Black and Sunset Blush. We won’t know the local pricing until the full launch but for reference, the standard model costs RM499, so we can expect the Pro version to be priced at a couple hundred Ringgit higher.
