ASUS announced a few AiO PCs earlier in the month, and now, the brand has a more conventional work desktop to announce. This comes in the form of the ExpertCenter D8 SFF, with the acronym standing for small form factor.
The ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF comes in two main variants, one being equipped with an Intel Core i5-13500 processor, and another with an Intel Core i7-13700 instead. The former starts with a stick of 8GB DDR5 RAM, while the latter has 16GB to begin with. Both have four DIMM slots for upgrades.
For storage, the ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF starts off the shelf with a 512GB M.2 SSD, but can be configured to up to a 1TB SSD with a 2TB HDD. Another optional add-on is the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 graphics, which won’t be doing too much, and is merely an alternative to the default Intel UHD Graphics 770 option.
As the name suggests, the ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF has a volume of 9l, and weighs in at 5kg. It also features a tool-free design leading to simpler upgrades or maintenance. It also comes with a MIL-STD 810H rating for reliability, with a solid enough chassis to support the weight of a monitor on top.
For its price, the ASUS ExpertCenter D8 SFF starts from RM3,448, or RM4,416 if you’re starting with the model with the Intel Core i7-13700 processor. You’ll also get a wired keyboard and mouse to go along with your purchase. To find out more about the small form factor desktop, you can head on over to its official product page, linked here.
