The nubia Z60 Ultra was unveiled earlier this week in its home market of China. It looks like the phone will be making its way to our shores next week, specifically on Christmas day, which is pretty soon after its initial announcement. Though it looks like we won’t be getting the priciest configuration available to the phone once it becomes available in the local market.
In case you missed it, the nubia Z60 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. On the inside, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a 6,000mAh battery that supports up to 80W charging. The main camera setup involves a 50MP main + 50MP wide angle + 64MP periscope combo, while the front-facing 12MP shooter sits under its display. The whole package also comes with an IP68 rating.
As mentioned earlier, the nubia Z60 Ultra will be available starting 25 December via the brand’s official store on Lazada. That being said, we will only be getting two configurations. First off, there’s the 12GB + 256GB configuration, which will have a price tag of RM3,499. Then there’s the 16GB + 512GB version, which will come with a price of RM4,299. But if you decide to buy any of these before 24 January, they will be available at discounted prices of RM2,899 and RM3,499, respectively.
Similarly, if the Starry Night Collector’s Edition caught your attention, the bad news is that it won’t be available for the local market. In fact, only the black colourway of the nubia Z60 Ultra will be available initially, with silver being available “later” in January. Since no specific date was provided, it’s entirely possible that this colour option will only become available once the early bird promo has ended.
