You’ve already checked your most frequently heard genre and artist for the year on Spotify or Apple Music, now it’s time to switch over to the gaming side of things. For those who have active accounts on Steam, you’ll be glad to know that the platform‘s Year In Review is now live via its website and app (mobile, PC and Mac), giving you a look back at the games you’ve played and the achievements you’ve earned throughout 2023.
You can immediately access this via a banner that’s displayed on Steam’s home screen, and clicking it will transport you to your very own Year In Review page. Key insights available here include the total number of games you’ve played, achievements unlocked, as well as highlighting some of your most-played titles for the year.

For those who use multiple kinds of control schemes, you’ll get stats detailing how frequently you play games with a controller or with a keyboard and mouse combination. Additionally, Steam Deck owners will also get specific stats displayed in the review.
One thing to note is that each person’s Year In Review is set as private by default, meaning that only you can view it. However, this can be changed to either Friends Only or Public so you can share the review on your Steam activity feed or social media. Speaking of which, a shareable link is also available on the same page to help with that.
Valve did not say how long Year In Review will remain on Steam’s home page until it is replaced with a different promotion, which is likely going to be the upcoming Winter Sale. But in case it is no longer available on the app or website, here’s a direct link for you.
