nubia has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Z60 Ultra. The new phone features bleeding-edge specs including an under-display camera (UDC), the newest flagship chipset from Qualcomm, and three high-end camera sensors on the back.
The Z60 Ultra is equipped with a flat 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits with the UDC portion has a dedicated display chip as well as an AI engine. Underneath the chassis is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM. For protection, the phone is rated at IP68 for dust and water resistance.
The main camera of the Z60 Ultra uses a 50MP sensor with a 35mm lens while the 50MP ultra-wide lens comes with autofocus and for zooming, it has a 64MP periscope unit with 3.3x optical zoom — all three cameras sport OIS. Powering it is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging and no wireless charging capability.
The Z60 Ultra comes in four colour options including a Starry Night Collector’s Edition. It starts from CNY4,299 (~RM2,816) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and tops out at CNY5,999 (~RM3,930) for the 24GB+1TB configuration. It’s currently unknown if the brand plans on bringing the phone to Malaysia.
