It looks like January 2024 is set to be a very busy month for NVIDIA and its GeForce RTX 40 Super Series GPU lineup, based on the leaked review and sales embargoes list that has made its way online. The GPU brand is expected to launch three Super variants of the card next month, during a special address at CES 2024.
As a quick recap, the three RTX 40 Super Series cards that are expected to be announced are the RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, and 4080 Super, and as is usually the case with NVIDIA, each model is expected to have separate unboxing, reviews, and sales dates. In total, we’re looking at seven embargoes. The embargo dates are as below, courtesy of Videocardz:
- January 8 (9AM PT): RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080 Super announcement.
- January 8 (2PM PT): RTX 4070 Super unboxing.
- January 16 (6AM PT): RTX 4070 Super MSRP Reviews.
- January 17 (6AM PT): RTX 4070 Super Non-MSRP Reviews and Product Launch.
- January 23 (6AM PT): RTX 4070 Ti Super MSRP Reviews.
- January 24 (6AM PT): RTX 4070 Ti Super non-MSRP Reviews and Product Launch.
- January 30 (6AM PT): RTX 4080 Super MSRP Reviews.
- January 31 (6AM PT): RTX 4080 Super non-MSRP Reviews and Product Launch.
As a reminder, MSRP reviews refer to the Founders Edition variants of the RTX 40 Super series cards, while the non-MSRP timings for cards fitted with custom coolers of AIB partners. There are still no official specifications of either card. That said, we have reported on the alleged specs of the GPUs previously but beyond that, we’re just going to have to wait until 8 January to learn more about the lineup.
