realme has officially launched a new entry-level smartphone in India called the C67. It was teased earlier on with a very thin body coupled with shiny designs, IP54 dust and water resistance, and the brand’s in-house Dynamic Island feature called Mini Capsule.
The C67 sports a flat 6.72-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 680 nits. On the software side, the Mini Capsule 2.0 comes with updated features that let you interaction with notifications whereas before this, it only showed charging animations. Internally, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the camera side, it’s pretty bare bones with only a 50MP main unit as well as a depth sensor next to it, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The C67 comes in Sunny Oasis and Dark Purple colour options and retails from INR13,999 (~RM785) for the base model. There is no word yet from the brand on when it might come to Malaysia, but we can expect the local launch to happen in the near future as the affordable phone has already received SIRIM certification.
