Huawei has just announced that it hold a product launch on 12 December 2023 in Dubai. Not much is known on what the company plans to introduce during the event, though it is speculated that it may be the much anticipated MatePad Pro 13.2 or the MatePad Pro 11 2024, or even both.
The announcement was made over on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the Chinese tech giant releasing a single image that features a tablet on the lower left-hand side of the image, while an unknown device appears at the upper right corner. The latter of which has fueled online discourse about what it could be.

As mentioned earlier, many speculate that the tablet shown is the MatePad Pro 13.2 or the MatePad Pro 11 2024, as both have thin bezels and similar visualisations on the screen. However, it seems that many have turned their attention to the device in the opposite corner of the teaser, piquing the interest of tech enthusiasts everywhere. Solely because it appears to be unlike anything Huawei has released before. The curious device itself strongly resembles a band for a potentially headphones. If that were the case, then the design would be more rigid than the Huawei FreeBuds Studio from 2020.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 was released in China back in September which features a notched display, a Kirin 9000S chipset and a 10,100mAh battery. According to ABP LIVE, Huawei has been hinting at the fact that the upcoming tablet that will be released globally will feature a large battery capacity and a “thin-bezel, high-refresh-rate OLED display.” Seeing that the company’s description and the MatePad Pro 13.2’s specifications sounding pretty close to one another, it’s not hard to see why most are speculating that the latter is likely the device that’s set to debut next week.
