Acer has announced a refresh of one of its gaming laptops outside of its Predator line. It’s the Acer Nitro V 15, and it comes in two primary variants. The two are mostly identical, with the major difference being the equipped GPU you get with each.
Going through the general spec sheet first, the Acer Nitro V 15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. On the inside, there’s the Intel Core i5-13420H processor, 8GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 SSD.
There’s the option to upgrade the former to up to 32GB with its two RAM slots. Storage also comes in two slots for your upgrading needs. For its battery, it is rated at 57Wh. For connectivity options, you get WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and an RJ45 LAN port.
Speaking of ports, the Acer Nitro V 15 also comes with a HDMI 2.1 port, a USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.2 ports and a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, as well as a microSD card reader. The entire package weighs in at about 2.1kg, which is pretty light for a gaming laptop.
Now for the difference of the two variants. At its base, the Acer Nitro V 15 comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050. The other option bumps this up to an RTX 4050. These are priced at RM3,099 and RM3,899, respectively. Get it before 31 December, and you’ll also get free gifts worth up to RM637 thrown in, including a Nitro Urban Gaming Backpack to carry your new gaming laptop around with.
