The alleged specifications and images of Samsung’s soon-to-be launched Galaxy S24 Series have leaked, and the specs notwithstanding…they pretty much look the same as this year’s Galaxy S23 Series.
The renders are supposedly official, and were initially published by Windows Report. From the looks of it, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will reportedly be available in four colour schemes: Amber Yellow Cobalt Violet, Marble Grey. and Onyx Black.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will unsurprisingly be receiving its own set of colour options, all with the Titanium motif too. Those colours are Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. Of course, and naturally, it’s also the only model in the series that will come with a S Pen.
Specs-wise, the Galaxy S24 Series is expected to ship out with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while some countries will receive variants of the S24 and S24+ rocking Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 SoC. If that’s true, then it’ll clearly be the comeback for the chipset that the Korean brand has long wanted since the launch of the Galaxy S22 Series, when it made the decision to go all-in with Qualcomm’s chipset. The recent Galaxy S23 FE notwithstanding.
Other internal specifications include a bare minimum of 8GB RAM for all Galaxy S24 Series models, while storage capacities are expected to come in a variety for 256GB, 512GB, and TB. The latter capacity most likely being exclusively for the S24 Ultra.
For the main camera, the source only mentions the module for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and again, it appears to be similar to the S23 Ultra. By that, we’re talking about a 200MP wide, a 12MP ultrawide, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP wide with 10X optical zoom. On that note, and given these specs, it is very likely that the phone will also be given access to the ExpertRAW app.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 Series during its first annual Unpacked event next year, which is scheduled to take place at San Jose, on 17 Janurary 2024. Until then, we recommend that you eat this rumour with the usual intake of salt.
