ASUS has announced two AiO PCs, with one model powered by an Intel processor, and another equipped with an AMD processor instead. These are known as the ASUS AiO A5 and the M3, respectively. Despite the processor difference, and their different names reflecting this, the two actually have a lot in common.
To start, both feature a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS NanoEdge display, with an 89% screen-to-body ratio and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. They both also feature integrated stereo speakers, with an integrated sound woofer to boot, featuring Dolby Atmos as well as AI-powered noise cancelling tech. Also featured on both the ASUS A5 and M3 is the integrated webcam, which makes use of the brand’s AiSense tech that provides all sorts of enhancements for video calls.
Being AiO PCs, you can expect both the ASUS A5 and M3 to come with a healthy selection of ports as well. Both have three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-A 2.0 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, a HDMI port, and an RJ45 LAN port. Though on this front, the A5 does pull a little ahead with an additional Thunderbolt 4 port, and extra USB-A 2.0 port and a HDMI-out port.
Going into the nitty gritty of their spec sheets, the ASUS AiO A5 comes with an Intel Core 15-1340P processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 storage. As for the M3, we’re looking at an AMD Ryzen 3 7320 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of M.2 storage. These are priced at RM3,699 and RM2,599, respectively.
