[UPDATE: 19:50pm, 27 Nov 2023] Maybank has confirmed that the temporary service interruption that it experienced earlier has finally been resolved sometime around 7:30pm this evening. It added that all affected services are accessible via its Maybank2u website as well as its MAE mobile app. As expected, the bank did not disclose the cause of the issue just yet.
Walau bagaimanapun, isu berkenaan telah diselesaikan dan kami menghargai sekiranya anda dapat mencuba semula mengakses aplikasi MAE by Maybank2u serta laman web Maybank2u.

Users have taken to social media to report an issue with the Maybank’s online services, noting that they’ve been unable to conduct payments or transfers via Maybank2u as well as the MAE mobile app. Based on the complaints posted on X (formerly Twitter) today, it appears that the disruption has been persisting since the afternoon.
In numerous responses, Maybank has confirmed that it is currently experiencing a “temporary service interruption” for both its Maybank2u website and MAE app, which has affected services such as Tabung, Instant Transfer, and DuitNow. The bank assured that it is currently addressing the issue, though it did not provide an expected time of completion for the maintenance.
Hi, good day to you. We hear your concern and any inconvenience caused is much regretted. Please be informed that there is an intermittent service interruption for the instant transfer via Maybank2u full website and MAE application at the moment.

At the time of writing, it’s currently not possible for users to log into Maybank2u or MAE. Additionally, Maybank is recommending those who are in need to transfer funds to utilise interbank GIRO transfer (scheduled transfer) for the time being, at least until the service interruption has been rectified.
