OPPO has just launched its latest mid-range lineup in China made up of the Reno 11 and Reno11 Pro. This series only features two phones instead of the usual three and it’s uncertain whether the brand is axing the Pro+ variant or delaying it for a later time.
The vanilla Reno11 sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 950 nits. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 67W charging.
On the other hand, the Pro model has a slightly larger 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED panel with a significantly higher peak brightness of 1,600 nits. This phone runs on last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and has a smaller 4,700mAh battery, but makes up for it with faster 80W charging support.
For the cameras, the two phones have a near-identical arrangement with a 50MP main camera, a 32MP portrait camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie shooter with AF. The main difference is that the Pro uses a higher-end Sony LYT-700 sensor while the standard variant is equipped with a Sony LYT-600 sensor, although both come with OIS.
The Reno11 starts from CNY2,499 (~RM1,640) for the base trim while the Pro model has a starting price of CNY3,499 (~RM2,295). As of now, the company is yet to announce if or when the new lineup will be coming to Malaysia.
