When the realme 11x 5G was first made available in Malaysia, it was not something that you can get from just about anywhere. Instead, it was tied exclusively to plans provided by telcos such as Maxis, U Mobile and Unifi. Though that looks to be changing, as the brand has now announced that the phone will now be available more generally.
The announcement aside, this is still the same realme 11x 5G that we’ve reported on before. This means the same 6.72-inch IPS 120Hz Full HD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, the 6GB + 128GB configuration and the 5,000mAh battery. In the same vein, charging is done via USB-C, with the familiar 33W charging rate.
For its cameras, the realme 11x 5G comes with a 64MP + 2MP combo at the back, and an 8MP shooter in front, sitting in a punch-hole cutout. Other familiar features include a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2.
As with everything else the realme 11x 5G is still a familiar RM999, despite it now being more generally available. The company says that the phone can now be bought via its own brand stores and authorised dealers, in its two familiar colours, Purple Dawn and Midnight Black.
