Coros has announced the arrival of its latest smartwatch, the Pace 3. While it’s the same size as the Pace 2 with a very similar design, the new watch adds a touchscreen, something its predecessor notably lacked, better GPS, and an improved battery life.
The Pace 3 sports a 1.2-inch 240×240 circular always-on display using an LCD panel, encased in a fibre reinforced polymer case and bezel. It has a rotating crown as well as a back button on the side for navigation and it has Bluetooth to connect to your phone and earbuds. On the durability side, it has 5 ATM water resistance, which means you can swim with it, and it can withstand the cold down to -20 degrees Celsius, although its heat resistance decreased from a maximum temperature of 60 degrees to 50 degrees.
The built-in GPS has been upgraded from single-frequency to dual-frequency and it comes with a breadcrumb navigation feature as well as a checkpoint tool. For health, it has sensors to track your heart rate, body temperature, and bloody oxygen saturation levels. Its battery life has significantly increased, with the company claiming that the Pace 3 can last up to 24 days with daily usage and 38 hours with GPS enabled.
The Pace 3 will be available starting 10 November for RM999, coming in two colours with silicone and nylon strap options. To purchase it, you can find it on Pangu or the brand’s official Lazada and Shopee stores.
