BonusLink has announced that a digital version of its loyalty card can now be added to Google Wallet, allowing Android users to have easy and quick access to the card without having to carry around a physical piece of plastic.
To add your BonusLink card to Google Wallet, you just need to open up the app, add to wallet, click on “Loyalty”, search for “BonusLink”, and sign into your account — you can even sign up to be a new member through this channel. The app will send a one-time password (OTP) to your phone number for verification.
New members will only get a digital card while a physical card will only be mailed upon request, which can be done through its website or the Blink app. Unfortunately, the company confirmed in a comment on its Facebook post that it does not yet support Apple Pay but hopes to add support “soon”.
Google’s Android e-wallet first launched in Malaysia almost a year ago, with most major banks now supporting it with the exception of Maybank and AmBank. Since then, it’s also added support for QR and barcode scanning to easily add things such as tickets and passes.
