Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially launched the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe in the Malaysia, its latest hybrid coupe model with a sportier look. The new design includes daytime running lights and multi-beam LED headlamps, as well as a revised front apron and a radiator grille in the style of AMG.
Coming in a single variant, the GLE 53 4MATIC+ features a 0 to 100km/h time of five seconds, cut down from 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 250km/h. With its 435hp 3.0L six-cylinder combustion engine, it can crank out a maximum torque of 560Nm. Meanwhile, the 15kW electric motor has a rated torque of 200Nm.
The car is equipped with a head-up display with MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation as well as a Burmester 3D surround sound system and a widescreen cockpit made up of two 12.3-inch screens. Other features, as part of the Driving Assistance Package Plus, include Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Extended automatic Re-start in traffic jams, Exit warning function, Active Steering Assist, and PRE-SAFE Impulse Side, along with a 360-degree camera function.
