Casio has announced that its League of Legends collaborative G-Shock watches will be released in Malaysia next week. As you may recall, the series was originally launched in Japan back in September and consists of two models: the Hextech-inspired GM-B2100LL-1A watch, and the Jinx–inspired GA-110LL-1A.
The G-Shock GM-B2100LL-1A is definitely the fancier one of the two, featuring full stainless steel and bands as well as gold-coloured parts that are presented with an aged ion plated treatment. Its watch face comes with a blue-tinted inverted LCD display, while the dial has light blue accents. Activating the onboard LED will emit a white light.
Meanwhile, the League of Legends branding can be found on the band link, as well as on the stainless steel case on the back of the timepiece. And much like the original G–Shock GA-2100-1A model, the Hextech variant also features Tough Solar power and Bluetooth smartphone link capabilities.
Next up is the Jinx-inspired G-Shock GA-110LL-1A model, which sports a mix of black, yellow, pink and white colours all across its body and bands. The display sections on its watchface also come with blue and pink tints, while the subdial features the character’s signature rocket instead of a regular hand. Additionally, graphics of Jinx herself can be found on the bottom band, whereas her rocket makes another appearance on the one above.
Like the Hextech model, the League of Legends’ logos also appear on the watch’s stainless steel rear case, as well as on the band keeper. Meanwhile, activating the onboard LED will emit a bright, explosion-like orange glow.
Both G-Shock x League of Legends watches will be available first on Casio Malaysia’s online store on 9 November 2023, and will hit store shelves via all authorised G-Shock dealers nationwide soon after. The Hextech GM-B2100LL-1A is priced at RM4,795 while the Jinx–inspired GA-110LL-1A will retail at RM965.
