Yes, the telco owned by YTL, officially announced that it is has finally become an official Telco partner for Apple iPhone. YES 5G customer will be able to purchase a plan with an iPhone 15 for a monthly fee as low as RM21 on a 36 month plan starting today via the company’s official site, while those that wish to purchase a plan either at a physical store or at an authorised Yes dealer may do so starting tomorrow.
Specifically, that iPhone 15 plan is part of the telco’s 36 month 178 Ultra Yes Infinite+ plan and for the model with the 128GB internal storage capacity. For those looking for a model with more storage in the form of 256GB or 512GB, you’ll be happy to know that the telco is also offering these models at plans from RM41 and RM71 per month, respectively.
If you are going for a 24-month plan with the iPhone 15, do note that starting price for the phone under the Yes Infinite+ 178 Ultra monthly plan starts from RM81 for the 128GB model, RM101 for 256GB, and RM141 for 512GB. And before you ask: Yes, the telco also has Infinite+ plans for the iPhone 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max.
Like the standard iPhone 15, Yes is offering the entire lineup in both 24-month and 36-month plans, ranging from their Basic, Standard, Premium, and Ultra packages under telco’s Infinite+ plans. We’ve provided the list of plans for the iPhone 15, but you can also view directly from the company’s product page. More importantly, once customers have signed up for a plan, they will gain full access to Yes’ uncapped speed and data offer, and its 5G internet speeds that the telco is proud of.
In conjunction with its partnership with Apple, YTL is also offering a special 11.11 deal where customers will be able to purchase an iPhone 15 or iPhone 15 Plus for as low as RM1. This deal is available with all Yes 5G plans and while stocks last. In addition, the telco is offering up to RM20,000 worth of goodies during the 11.11 window for free to anyone that purchases an iPhone plan with the telco, although it wasn’t made clear if the deal was limited to just the purchase of an iPhone 15 device or if it is also applicable to the purchase of older iPhone models. These exclusive gifts include a pair of 3rd Generation Apple Airpods, a 20W USB-C Power adapter, and 3-month gift card to an NVIDIA GeForce Now subscription.
Outside of the 11.11 special deal and event, Yes will be offering a free 1-month subscription worth RM50 of GeForce Now with every purchase of an iPhone, plus 15% off all iPhone accessories. To wrap up the event, Yes also announced that, in conjunction with iPhones running on the 17.1 iOS update, Yes customers will be able to activate their line via eSIM and by what was shown off, the activiation process appears to be seamless by design.
