As promised, Infinix today has launched its new Zero 30 5G smartphone in Malaysia. It is available now through the brand’s official TikTok shop, as well as authorised dealers nationwide.
To recap our previous report, the Infinix Zero 30 5G features a curved 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which is rare for most mid-range handsets in the market. It offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a refresh rate of 144Hz, 950 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Meanwhile, the phone itself comes with an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, dual speakers, and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Also onboard is a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset that’s paired together with 12GB RAM (expandable up to 21GB via virtual memory) and 256GB of storage, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support via USB-C. Unlike its release in India, the phone is only offered in a single memory configuration. It runs on Android 13 via Infinix’s XOS 13 out of the box, while supported connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.
In terms of imaging, featured on the back of the Infinix Zero 30 is a triple camera setup that’s helmed by a Samsung 108MP primary sensor with OIS, along with a 13MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display is a Samsung 50MP selfie camera that can record 4K video at 60 fps.
Locally, the new Infinix Zero 30 5G is priced at RM1,299 and is available in Rome Green, Golden Hour and Fantasy Purple colourways. The company adds that customers who purchase the phone through authorised dealers are also entitled to receive a Infinix black leather bag for free while stocks last.
