Infinix Malaysia has announced that its latest smartphone, the Zero 30 5G, is slated to launch locally on 2 November 2023. In case you missed it, the new mid-ranger packs a large display, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and two high resolution Samsung sensors on both sides.
Based on its global release, the Infinix Zero 30 offers a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 950 nits peak brightness. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, dual speakers, and a USB-C 2.0 port. As for colour options, the phone is offered in Rome Green, Golden Hour and Fantasy Purple.
Under the hood, there’s a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset as well as 256GB storage and up to 12GB RAM, which can be expanded further up to a whopping 21GB via virtual memory. Also onboard is a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging, Android 13 via Infinix’s XOS 13, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC wireless connectivity.
On the back of the Infinix Zero 30 is a triple camera setup consisting of a Samsung 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, housed within the punch-hole cutout on its display is a front-facing camera with a Samsung 50MP sensor that’s capable of recording 4K video at 60 fps.
Further details such as local pricing and so on will only be revealed by the company this Thursday. For your reference, the Infinix Zero 30 5GG launched in India at a starting price of INR23,999 (~RM1,350) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and INR24,999 (~RM1,430) for the 12GB + 256GB.
