Chinese accessory brand SHARGE has announced what it calls the world’s first “magnetic power bank with active cooling” in the form of the ICEMAG. It is also MagSafe-compatible, making it a pretty enticing accessory to get if you have issues with the battery life of your iPhone.
The SHARGE ICEMAG has a battery capacity of 10,000mAh, making it a pretty sizeable power bank as it is. Emphasizing on its convenience is its 7.5W wireless charging capabilities to along with its MagSafe compatibility. If you’re not an iPhone user, you’re not exactly locked out of using the power bank either, as it also supports the Qi standard. But if you prefer good old USB-C wired charging, this is only rated at 20W.
But with wireless charging usually comes additional heat generated during the charging process. Mitigating this is a 8,000 RPM fan built into the SHARGE ICEMAG. It also sports a see-through design, letting you appreciate the whole process in action, though making things a bit superfluous is the “full-spectrum” RGB lighting.
The SHARGE ICEMAG has a price tag of RM299, but you won’t be able to buy one immediately. Instead, you’ll have to wait until 1 November, when it will be available via the brand’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok.
