Fans of Insomniac Games would be aware that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the sequel to critically acclaimed 2018 game, launched last night for the PS5. For those who have not yet bought the game, you have a chance to give the game a try before you decide if it’s one that you’d by. And you can so do by stopping by the pop-up stands at the Piazza of The Starhill, Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Granted, you will only be able to play a specific stage of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but it is the one involving Sandman that you’ve seen in the recent trailers. Beyond that, you’ll also be able to take a closer look at the limited edition PS5 as well as the accompanying DualSense controller. Or, if the game’s Collector’s Edition has caught your eye, you can also get an in-person look at the figure of Venom doing battle with both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Probably worth mentioning at this point that the limited edition console is of the current iterations and not the redesigns.
As you’d expect, there’s just a tad more to the pop-up than merely to promote Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If you take part in the activities available, part of which involves trying the game anyway, you will get a physical poster and comic for your troubles. If you end up buying something from your visit, you’ll also be entered into a lucky draw to win even more prizes.
And on that note, you can get yourself a standard copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 now for RM299. The Digital Deluxe edition of the game would cost RM 339, while the physical Collector’s Edition has an asking price of RM969. If you want to get a PS5 to go with the game, then there’s the PS5 Console Limited Edition Bundle which is priced at RM2,969. If you already have a PS5 console and just want the console cover, these cost RM309. Ditto the special edition DualSense, which is priced at RM399.
The stand will be around until 29 October, and will be open from 10AM to 10PM every day until then. You can also hit this link to find out more.
