OPPO has confirmed that its third-generation flip smartphone, the Find N3 Flip, will see a global launch next week in Singapore. And it looks like the device won’t be by its lonesome as the company’s announcement suggests that we’ll be seeing a series rather than an individual product. This could mean that its book-styled sibling, the regular Find N3, may also debut alongside it.
To recap, the OPPO Find N3 Flip first made its debut in China in August, revealing an updated design as well as numerous improvements over its predecessor. On its cover is a 3.26-inch external AMOLED display with 720 x 382px resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, while inside is a larger 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable screen with 2520 x 1080px resolution, up 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and ultra-thin glass (UTG) protection. Also onboard is an improved version of the brand’s hinge mechanism, which is now 37% smaller than the previous version but retains the ability to allow for a near-creaseless foldable display experience.
Introducing not one, but two game-changing foldables.
Tune into the #OPPOFindN3Series Global Launch and witness the future unfold.

Meanwhile, under its hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 flagship chipset, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. Besides that, the phone comes with Android 13 via ColorOS 13.2, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity, as well as a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging via USB-C.
Imaging-wise, housed within the Find N3 Flip’s circular island on its upper shell is a 50MP primary sensor, along with 48MP ultra-wide and a 32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom. On the inside, found within the punch-hole cutout on the internal display is a 32MP selfie camera.
As for the book-styled Find N3 model, so far there’s no official information about it just yet. However, given that the upcoming OnePlus Open foldable smartphone is basically a rebadged version of it, it is very likely that they both share more or less the same specifications. On that note, it has been revealed so far that its OnePlus counterpart features a 7.8-inch 2K 120Hz inner display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, 16GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The new OPPO Find N3 series is scheduled to launch on 19 October 2023 at 2:30pm local time. Those interested to tune into the event’s live stream can do so by visiting the brand’s official YouTube page, and there’s a chance that it also will be broadcasted on its social media channels on Facebook and X by then as well.
On the other hand, OPPO is also expected to launch the Find N3 Flip for the Malaysian market soon. However, details regarding this are still unavailable at this time.
