Following its international unveiling in the middle of last month, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 have gotten their official local launch, alongside the Watch GT 4. And while the gap between announcement and availability for its European launch was pretty large, it is a lot less so for the local market.
As you’d expect, the company did not reveal much that was new about the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. The items from its spec sheet remain consistent from its previous unveiling. This includes a 31-hour battery life including the charging case, but no figures for just the earbuds themselves.
Beyond battery life, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 also comes with support for L2HC and LDAC codecs for hi-res audio. Other features include what the company calls Pure Voice 2.0 for calls, Intelligent ANC 3.0 and Triple Adaptive EQ for enhanced sound.
On the outside, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 come with grooves on the sides for better grip and stability during use. The case itself is also made of what the company calls Nano Processed glass for increased durability.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 come with a RM899 price tag, but won’t be immediately available despite the recent announcement. Instead, you’ll be able to pick up a pair for yourself starting 21 October, either via its own official online store, or via Shopee and Lazada. Unfortunately, it is not yet listed on that last one.
