The user manual for the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE first showed up online last month. It would later make an appearance in the SIRIM database alongside the Galaxy S23 FE, indicating their imminent local launches. Now, the earbuds have finally gotten their official announcement, alongside the aforementioned smartphone and the Tab S9 FE.
Some of the items in the features list has already been revealed via the user manual, so these don’t particularly come as a surprise. These include things like ANC and ambient mode, as well as the inclusion of multiple wingtips and ear tips. Now that the official announcement is behind us, the company says that there are two pairs of wingtips and three pairs of ear tips.
Circling back to the ANC and ambient modes, these are powered by three microphones, alongside an “automatic personalised beamforming”. With the official announcement, we also get battery life figures for the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, which are rated at up to 8.5 hours of playback on a single charge, or up to 30 hours with the case. Turn on ANC and these become 6 hours and 21 hours, respectively. Connectivity is, as you’d expect, done via Bluetooh 5.2, with support for Auto Switch as well for when you have multiple devices connected.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are priced at RM399, and will be available starting 10 October, just like the other FE products launched today. Its official product page on the company’s website is not yet live, but that would be the place to go if you need more information on this pair of TWS buds.
