OPPO’s latest compact foldable smartphone, the Find N3 Flip, will be arriving in Malaysia soon. This has been confirmed by the company itself through teasers uploaded to its website and social media channels, though the exact date for the local launch is still kept under wraps for now. Nevertheless, OPPO promises that the device will be “coming soon”, so it is possible that it may arrive sometime this month.
For those who’ve missed it, the FInd N3 Flip saw its first launch in China back in August. To recap our previous report, OPPO’s latest compact foldable smartphone features a circular camera island beside its external screen while found on the left-hand side of its frame is a new three-alert slider. Like its predecessor, it too sports a 3.26-inch external AMOLED display with 720 x 382 px resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, whereas its internal display is a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable panel with 2520 x 1080 px resolution, up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and has ultra-thin glass (UTG) protection.
On the inside, the phone is equipped with a 5G-enabled Dimensity 9200 flagship chipset, as well as 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It also comes with Android 13 via ColorOS 13.2, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity, and a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging via USB.
In terms of imaging, the circular island on the Find N3 Flip’s cover houses a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide and a new 32MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. Meanwhile, found within the punch-hole cutout on its internal display is a 32MP selfie camera.
For your reference, the OPPO Find N3 Flip launched in China at a starting price of CNY6,799 (~RM4,330) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. It is also offered in three colour options: Black, Gold, and Rose. As for the phone’s local pricing and availability, we’ll only find out once OPPO Malaysia follows up with a separate announcement that’s likely to be made in the very near future.
