Apart from the Raijin gaming chair, Lamborghini Blade 16 and Aether smart lighting range, Razer also launched its new Huntsman V3 Pro keyboard series last night during RazerCon 2023. The fresh line-up consists of three different variants: a full-sized model, a tenkeyless, and a more compact 60% version.
Regardless of which, all three Huntsman V3 Pro keyboards are equipped with Razer’s Gen-2 Analog Optical Switches, which boast lighter actuation force for fast keystrokes and can be adjusted further to suit your personal preference. This perk also makes way for the new Rapid Trigger Mode feature resets a key the moment it starts travelling upwards following an activation. In essence, this allows for fast levels of responsiveness when switching between keys, which is essential for competitive gaming.
Build-wise, the trio features brushed aluminium chassis, textured doubleshot PBT keycaps, and bottom case foam that provides a degree of internal sound dampening. They also come with detachable USB-C cables, pre-lubed stabilisers, N-key rollover, dual-level kickstands, and 1,000Hz polling rate. Of course, all three Huntsman V3 Pro models are equipped with Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, which can be customised to your heart’s content through the Synapse companion app.
In terms of differences, the full-sized version comes with three programmable control buttons and a multi-function digital dial. The tenkeyless model, on the other hand, only has two programmable control buttons but retains the multi-function digital dial. Meanwhile, the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini ditches all of the extra interfaces that are offered on its siblings in favour of a compact form factor. It’s also worth noting that only the full-sized and tenkeyless variants have magnetic leatherette wrist rests included together with their respective packages.
The new Razer Huntsman V3 Pro series is slated to be shipped out sometime in October 2023, with pre-orders exclusively available via the brand’s official website. For the Malaysian market, the full-sized model is priced at RM1,249, the tenkeyless at RM1,099, while the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini is at RM899.
