Apple officially announced the iPhone 15 series of phones last week, with pre-orders starting today and proper availability coming next week for the local market. It was only a matter of time before the major local telcos announce their own pre-order plans for the phones. And today, all three major telcos have revealed what they would be like.
Maxis
Starting with Maxis, the telco is offering the base iPhone 15 as part of its Zerolution installment plans. There’s also the option to have it in a 24- or 36-month contract. Worth mentioning that these are the prices for the devices alone, so the actual amount you’ll need to pay, should you decide to sign up, will be more once monthly bills are factored in, as well as upfront payments where applicable.
Here’s the exact breakdown for each option, with the assumption that you’re getting the priciest Postpaid 199 plan:
- iPhone 15
- 128GB – RM91/month (36-Months) | RM146/month (24-Months)
- 256GB – RM103/month (36-Months) | RM165/month (24-Months)
- 512GB – RM129/month (36-Months) | RM203/month (24-Months)
- iPhone 15 Plus
- 128GB – RM103/month (36-Months) | RM165/month (24-Months)
- 256GB – RM116/month (36-Months) | RM184/month (24-Months)
- 512GB – RM141/month (36-Months) | RM222/month (24-Months)
- iPhone 15 Pro
- 128GB – RM118/month (36-Months) | RM188/month (24-Months)
- 256GB – RM131/month (36-Months) | RM207/month (24-Months)
- 512GB – RM156/month (36-Months) | RM245/month (24-Months)
- 1TB – RM182/month (36-Months) | RM283/month (24-Months)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- 256GB – RM144/month (36-Months) | RM226/month (24-Months)
- 512GB – RM169/month (36-Months) | RM264/month (24-Months)
- 1TB – RM194/month (36-Months) | RM302/month (24-Months)
Alternatively, if you want to get the devices outright with an ordinary 24-month contract, you can get the iPhone 15 starting from RM2566. For the Plus model, prices start from RM3021. As for the Pro models, your starting points are RM3,566 and RM4,475 for the Pro and Pro Max, respectively.
Digi
With the merger completed, you’ll find that the two halves of CelcomDigi provided very similar prices for the iPhone 15 line. Naturally, the monthly bill part remains distinct so there’s still come consideration on that front. Fortunately, the telco has provided a convenient table for you to refer to.
U Mobile
The offerings by U Mobile are all tied to its U Postpaod 98 plan, which offers subscribers 1TB of data per month. With that in mind, the telco only offers the new iPhones in its U SaveMore or U PayLater contracts, both with a 24-month duration. The former allows you to buy the device outright at the start of your contract, while the latter has you pay for the iPhone 15 in installments alongside your monthly bill.
This is what each iPhone 15 configuration will look like with both options, minus the monthly RM98 bill:
- iPhone 15
- 128GB – RM3,199 or RM156/month
- 256GB – RM3,699 or RM175/month
- 512GB – RM4,599 or RM213/month
- iPhone 15 Plus
- 128GB – RM3,699 or RM175/month
- 256GB – RM4,199 or RM194/month
- 512GB – RM4,999 or RM232/month
- iPhone 15 Pro
- 128GB – RM4,299 or RM198/month
- 256GB – RM4,739 or RM217/month
- 512GB – RM5,599 or RM255/month
- 1TB – RM6,499 or RM293/month
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
- 256GB – RM5,199 or RM236/month
- 512GB – RM5,999 or RM274/month
- 1TB – RM6,999 or RM312/month
Celcom
As mentioned earlier, Celcom is offering very similar prices for the iPhone 15 line compared to its other half. One major difference is that it has a higher tier plan in the form of the MEGA 188, which comes with its own set of prices.
Beyond these telcos, Yes 5G did announce yesterday that it would have its own iPhone 15 offers. But so far, it doesn’t look like any details on that front has been shared yet, at least at the time of writing.
