Yes 5G today has announced that it will be offering all four models from the newly announced iPhone 15 series soon. It is also worth mentioning that this will be the first time for the telco to include Apple’s smartphones to its data plan bundles, which likely inspired the “Greater things come to those who wait” tagline that’s included in the reveal.
While no further details have been provided just yet, Yes 5G did tease that it will be offering the regular iPhone 15 model from RM21/month, while the iPhone 15 Pro is at RM51/month. It’s still not known which of the telco’s data plans the phones will be bundled with, though it is very likely to be one of its Infinite postpaid subscriptions. And it goes without saying that a long-term contract commitment is required if you plan to own these devices through these deals.
Despite being the first telco in Malaysia to reveal their pricing (for half of the upcoming line-up, at least), Yes 5G did not say whether it will be opening up pre-orders for the iPhone 15 series later tonight. As of now, only CelcomDigi, U Mobile and Maxis have confirmed that they will be accepting orders for the highly anticipated Apple smartphone line-up at midnight on 22 September 2023.
For now, interested users can register their interest on Yes 5G’s website in order to stay up to date with any new announcements regarding the iPhone 15 series’ availability through the telco. On that note, Apple previously confirmed that the new line-up is slated arrive in Malaysia from 29 September 2023 onwards.
