Earlier in the month, Jabra launched the Elite 8 Active, one of the two pairs of TWS buds that the company had in the pipeline. But rather than sharing the spotlight as a pair the way they did for their international debut, the Jabra Elite 10 got help up on the way to our shores. But better late than never, as the company has announced the availability of these wireless earbuds.
As mentioned in the prior report, the Jabra Elite 10 is pretty similar to the Elite 8 Active. Naturally it is not as rugged, in return it gets more sound-related features, primarily Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking. The drivers here are also larger, measuring in at 10mm compared to the 6mm ones in the 8 Active.
But beyond these differences, the Jabra Elite 10 is comparable to the Elite 8 Active. They share the six built-in microphones for calls and noise cancelling tech, with Bluetooth 5.3 allowing for multipoint connectivity with up to two devices at once. They also sport up to eight hours on a single charge, with the case giving 26 more hours. If used with ANC left on, these figures become six and 21, respectively.
Locally, the Jabra Elite 10 has an asking price of RM1,299. Unfortunately there’s no exact release date, but the company says these will be available “from the end of September 2023”. Available colours are Cream, Cocoa and Titanium Black. A fourth Gloss Black colour variant is exclusive to the brand’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and Sunway eMall, though these buds are not yet listed on that last one.
