OnePlus is set to release another tablet dubbed Pad Go, which is set to be its second device in the category after its flagship Pad launched earlier this year. It seems to be a more affordable version of its existing tablet with a similar design and some interesting software features.
The Pad Go looks almost identical to its more premium predecessor save for a two-toned rear panel. Aside from that, it seems to sport the same uniform bezels and the centred circular camera bump on the back. The company claims that it will be an “economical, entertainment-oriented tablet,” so we can expect to see some downgrades in its specs.

One such compromise is that OnePlus COO and President, Kinder Liu, has confirmed that it will be getting a 2.4K display, a lower resolution than the 2.8K screen on the original Pad. The exact size of the tablet and the screen refresh rate is still unknown, but it will follow retain the 7:5 aspect ratio and its speakers will support Dolby Atmos.
On the software side, the tablet will have a content syncing feature that allows users to sync clipboard content and share files between OnePlus phones and the Pad Go, similar to Apple’s ecosystem. The upcoming device is confirmed to be launched in India on 6 October, with no confirmation on whether the tablet will make it to international markets.
