Luxury brand Caviar has previously released ultra-luxurious versions of Apple products, primarily the iPhones. Now that the iPhone 15 line has been officially unveiled, the luxury brand has gone to work dipping the Pro variants in gold. The resulting devices are the Ultra Gold models of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
The back of these Ultra Gold variants of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are plated with 18K gold plus a satin texture. The Apple logo itself, on the other hand, is claimed to be “completely melted” with the same material. As the material suggests, these extra luxurious models don’t come cheap. The iPhone 15 Pro Ultra Gold has a starting price of US$8,890 (~RM41,685) for the 128GB model, going all the way up to US$9,890 (~RM46,374) for 1TB of storage. Similarly, the Pro Max starts at US$9,670 (~RM46,280) for 256GB, and caps out at US$10,390 (~RM48,719) for 1TB.
If a fully gold back is a bit much for your taste, Caviar also has the Ultra Black colourways for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. With these, the back is made of “aviation titanium with PVD”, with only the Apple logo being in 18K gold. Here, prices range from US$8,060 (~RM37,793) to US$9,060 (~RM42,482) for the Pro model, and from US$8,840 (~RM41,451) to US$9,560 (~RM44,827) for the Pro Max.
For more restrained designs, and that word is used loosely with the Caviar brand, there are the Titan Black, Dark Red and Starry Night colours with no gold. Two of those are self explanatory, but the last one is coloured Dark Violet instead. For the most part these also use titanium, but the two coloured ones have marble carbon fibre to provide their respective colours. In the same vein, the coloured ones have the lowest starting prices at US$7,340 (~RM34,417) though Titan Black has a slightly higher starting point at US$7,410 (~RM34745).
