Last week, the user manual of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE made its way online, shedding some light on what the presumably budget-friendly TWS buds would be like. It wasn’t too long before industry leakster Roland Quandt got his hands on just a bit more details of the upcoming earbuds, and shared them on X, previously Twitter.
Granted, the post only comes with three real bits of info, one of which is probably not all that important – colour choices are graphite or white. We’ve gotten a glimpse of both from the aforementioned user manual. One segment on the buds showing off its layout and functions shows off the former, while the bit on the charging case has the latter on display.

Next on the list is the claim that the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE will sport 12mm AKG-tuned drivers on each side. This is no real surprise either as AKG is a Harman subsidiary, which itself sits under the Samsung Electronics umbrella. With that in mind, we’ve seen plenty of AKG involvement when it comes to the South Koren tech giant’s audio products.
Finally, and probably the most important bit of info in the post, is the supposed price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. Quandt claims that this will retail at US$99.99 (~RM466), which puts it at slightly over half the price of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. That being the case, it remains to be seen if the FE TWS Buds’s price will be a solid indicator as to what you can expect from them in relation to existing models.
As mentioned in the prior report, there’s no indication yet as to when we can expect any of this to be confirmed. With the assumption that the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE will indeed be unveiled alongside the S23 FE, we are already within the current rumoured announcement window of Q4 2023.
