The realme 11x 5G, the brand’s budget-friendly variant of its 11 series smartphones, has finally landed in Malaysia today. But unlike its siblings, the device is only available exclusively via local mobile service provider U Mobile as part of a bundle with either its U Postpaid 68 or 98 plans.
In case you’ve missed our previous reports, the new realme 11x 5G features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 680nits peak brightness. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, and a single memory configuration consisting of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot onboard, which lets you expand the storage capacity further up to 2TB.
Besides that, the phone comes with Android 13 via realme UI 4.0, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a USB-C port for data transfer and charging. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
In terms of imaging, housed within a circular island on the realme 11 5G’s back is a dual camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, situated in front is an 8MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. As for colour options, the new handset is offered in either Midnight Black or Purple.
Valued at RM999, those interested can get the new realme 11 5G completely for free if they sign up for 24-months under the U Postpaid 98 plan. According to U Mobile, all that is required is an upfront advance fee of RM98 in order to get both the phone and the 5G data plan together.
Alternatively, you can opt for a 12-month contract instead for RM447 per month, or sign up either for a 24-month or 12-month contract under the U Postpaid 68 plan which will cost you RM307 or RM507 per month respectively. For further information, please visit U Mobile’s official website.
