A new leak is suggesting that Samsung may be gearing up to release another entry-level smartphone in the coming months, namely the Galaxy A25 5G. Unlike the Galaxy A05 and A05s which we’ve covered earlier today, this particular model is believed to be marketed as a higher tier cost-friendly device, much like its predecessor that was only launched for the local market back in May this year.
According to TheGalox_ (aka Anthony), the allegedly upcoming Samsung Galaxy A25 will feature a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, a 5G-enabled Exynos 1280 chipset, 8GB of RAM, Android 14 via the company’s One UI 6 platform, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Details regarding its storage capacity were not provided, so it is unclear whether we’re expecting a single configuration or otherwise. It’s also worth noting that the same specifications were discovered in the phone’s listing on Geekbench’s database by GSMArena just a day prior.

In terms of design, reliable tipster OnLeaks revealed back in June that the Galaxy A25 will sport Samsung’s current design language; featuring a minimalist rear panel with three protruding camera lenses in a vertical arrangement. In regards to the latter, TheGalox_ claims that the setup will be helmed by a 50MP camera, but details of the two remaining shooters are still a mystery for now. Besides that, the phone is also depicted inheriting its predecessor’s 3.5mm headphone jack.
As for availability, TheGalox_ says Samsung is expected to launch the new Galaxy A25 “in the coming months.” Seeing that it is an entry-level smartphone, it is safe to assume that the brand won’t be hosting a major launch event for it.
