The realme 11x is set to become the newest addition to the brand’s 11 series, which will be the cheapest offering yet within the lineup. Joining the vanilla 11 along with the Pro and Pro Plus, the phone will be launched in Malaysia on 15 September.
It sports the same 6.72-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate as its higher-end counterpart, with a peak brightness of 680 nits. Adding to its similarity with the 11, it also runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, with 8GB of RAM and only 128GB of internal storage. However, it gets a microSD card slot with up to 2TB of storage expansion.
The camera setup is where it largely differs from the 11, with the back featuring a 64MP primary lens next to a depth sensor while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the 11x is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging.
On the connectivity side, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone ships with realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 and will be available in purple and black colour variants. For reference, it is sold in India for INR15,999 (~RM900), so we can expect something in that price range for the local market.
