Samsung’s collaboration with US fashion brand Thom Browne returns with the introduction of new tie-in products for 2023. Officially revealed by the South Korean tech giant earlier today are the new Thom Browne Editions for its Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Watch6 which, as before, will only be offered as a limited release.
For one thing, it appears that the number of devices under the collaboration have reduced when compared to last year’s collection. To recap, the previous Thom Browne limited editions included all four devices that debuted during Samsung’s second 2022 Unpacked event, namely both past-generation Galaxy Z foldables, the Galaxy Watch5, and Galaxy Buds2 Pro.
In anycase, the newly unveiled Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition is shown to sport a gold hinge cover, black frames, and a rear case with red, white and blue stripes that’s covered by fabric textured glass. Included together with the foldable smartphone are two black leather covers with varying textures which also features gold studs and a Thom Browne-themed tag. There’s also a black S-pen, along with a matching black cover for it.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch6 gets a very fancy Thom Browne makeover, which gives it a gold body with the fashion brand’s logo engraved on the side. Additionally, users are given two strap options: one with black pebble leather, while the other with red, white and blue striped leather – both come with a gold buckle. Meanwhile, its watch face comes with two new exclusive themes that goes perfectly well with the two included straps.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Watch6 Thom Browne Editions will be sold in a set, which comes packed in a similarly themed briefcase. The collection is slated to be available in select markets from 12 September via Samsung’s official website, though details regarding its pricing is still not known at this time. Unfortunately, the company did not say whether Malaysia is included in the list.
