vivo is quietly launching yet another Y series smartphone with the Y02t. The phone is an entry-level device that comes in two colour options, grey and blue, and is disappointingly equipped with a microUSB charging port instead of the modern USB-C standard.
It sports a 6.51-inch 720p LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Inside, it runs on the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of storage expansion. On the connectivity side, the Y02t supports Wi-Fi 5, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and it gets a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There are only two cameras on the Y02t, an 8MP main sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter up front. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with only a 10W charging speed, but it also supports reverse charging to power your other devices.
The Y02t will be available starting from 9 September for a retail price of RM499. It can be purchased through the brand’s official Lazada and Shopee pages. While stocks last, the phone will come with free gifts such as a phone stand, a transparent phone case, and wired earphones, as well as a 10% rebate voucher.
