The Amazfit Balance has been launched as the brand’s latest fitness-focused smartwatch. It has a laundry list of health features and many of which are powered by AI through Zepp Aura as well as the previously released Zepp coach.
It is a 46mm smartwatch that sports a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480×480 resolution and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. For protection, it has a layer of tempered glass as well as a 5 ATM rating for water resistance up to 50 metres.
The Amazfit Balance gets an upgraded dual-LED and 8PD BioTracker optical sensor which can give users a readiness score every morning based on how they slept. There is also AI sleep coaching by Zepp Aura, which requires a paid subscription but is free for the first three months.
A Body Composition measurement feature allows users to measure their body fat percentage, skeletal muscle, muscle, water, bone mass, protein, BMI, and Basal Metabolism from their wrist. As for the battery life, it can last for up to 14 days of typical usage and up to a whopping 25 days with battery saver mode.
Available in select countries, the Amazfit Balance retails for US$229.99 (~RM1,072). It is unclear whether the smartwatch will be coming here, but the brand’s Malaysian Facebook page posted a teaser with the word “balance” repeated several times, which could be a hint of an upcoming local launch.
