Warner Bros. Discovery and Unifi will be expanding their collaboration by adding more of the former’s content and services onto the latter’s platform. The streaming service HBO GO, along with four HBO channels, are making their way to Unifi TV.
HBO GO will be available on Unifi TV some time in October, although the specific date has not been revealed yet. It is also unknown if Unifi will offer access to the streaming service as part of some of its more premium bundles, like it did with Netflix, or how much it would cost. For reference, the standalone subscription costs RM34.90 per month.
Back in May, HBO GO removed Live TV from its platform, providing only on-demand content. The two companies noted that Unifi TV subscribers will have streaming access to DC series and movies, HBO Originals, Wizarding World, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, and more content across multiple devices.
Unifi’s service is also adding HBO, HBO Family, HBO Hits, and Cinemax to its catalogue, with all Pack subscribers getting a free 30-day preview starting from 1 September. With the addition of HGTV and Cartoon Network last month, Unifi now offers a total of nine WBD channels.
