Nothing’s sub-brand CMF, which focuses on providing consumers with “accessible” tech products, is slated to launch its first products on 26 September 2023. However, thanks to a very recent leak, it appears that we wouldn’t have to wait long to see what it has to offer.
According to Tech and Leaks as well as Alchimist Leaks via Telegram, CMF by Nothing is expected to debut a total of three devices next month. The first two are the smartwatch and earbuds which the company itself has previously confirmed, while the last one is something rather unexpected: a GaN charger.
The leak also included alleged drafts of promotional images for all of the aforementioned products, as well as details of their key features and pricing for India. But before we go on, keep note that none of these are official and there’s a chance that they might turn out to be inaccurate in the end.
The first product, supposedly known as the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro, is suggested to feature a square-shaped 1.96-inch AMOLED display with Always-On capability, a refresh rate of 50fps, and up to 600 nits brightness. Surrounding the screen is an IP68-rated aluminium alloy case with either orange or black straps attached to it. The smartwatch is also claimed to feature over 100 watch faces and sports modes, as well as heart rate, SpO2, stress and sleep monitoring, multi-system standalone GPS, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and a 330mAh battery that could last up to 13 days on a single charge.
Next up we have the CMF by Nothing Buds Pro, which is shown sporting an all-orange stemmed earbuds form factor with ear tips. It is said to come with “best-in-class” 45dB ANC, 10mm dynamic drivers with “Ultra Bass technology”, three HD mics on each side with “Clear Calls algorithm” and “Anti-wind noise structure”, as well as IP54 water and dust resistance. The buds themselves are said to last up to 11 hours of continuous playback, while the included case (also in orange) is touted to offer additional 460mAh top-ups via fast charging.
Lastly is CMF by Nothing GaN charger (allegedly dubbed as the Power 65W GaN), which is also depicted in the company’s orange colour scheme. On top of its 65W power delivery, it also features a USB-A as well as two USB-C ports. Additionally, it is said to support USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 and Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+/3.0/2.0. Whether or not the company will release the charger with region-specific plug points is still not known.
As mentioned earlier, all three CMF by Nothing devices are expected to launch globally on 26 September. According to the leak, the Watch Pro may debut at US$69 (~RM320), while the Buds Pro and Power 65W GaN are priced at INR3,499 (~RM196) and INR2,999 (~RM168) respectively. As a reminder, all of the information provided is unconfirmed, so it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt.
