OPPO, via its official Weibo page, has officially unveiled its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Find N3 Flip. According to the company, the device is slated to launch in China towards the end of this month alongside its latest flagship wearable, the Watch 4 Pro.
Based on the official reveal, the OPPO Find N3 Flip appears almost exactly as depicted by Digital Chat Station’s leak from last week. The phone is shown to retain the vertical display from its predecessor, while situated beside it is a new circular island which houses its triple camera setup. The company did not provide any specifications, so we’re unsure if there are any changes to the cover screen’s overall size or what sensors are equipped on each shooter.
The design of its internal display is not known as well, since the promotional images and video (which features popular Chinese actress Shu Qi, by the way) did not showcase the Find N3 Flip in its unfolded form. If Digital Chat Station’s leak is to be believed, the phone should feature a foldable screen with a punch-hole camera cutout on top. Besides that, other visually confirmed details include the Hasselblad branding that’s visible on the camera island and the gold colourway.
As mentioned earlier, OPPO will also be launching the new Watch 4 Pro wearable alongside the Find N3 Flip. Details surrounding this particular product are still sparse, but it is revealed that the smartwatch will feature a curved display, and a rugged-looking stainless steel body with a rotating crown and lone button on its right-hand side. It is also shown to feature either silicone or leather straps.
In any case, we’ll only find out more regarding the OPPO Find N3 Flip and Watch 4 Pro next week on 29 August 2023. According to the teaser image, the event is scheduled to start at 2:30pm in China and will be live streamed via the company’s official website. International availability for the company’s latest clamshell foldable smartphone is still not known at this time.
