Canon Malaysia has recently launched its official E-Store, allowing local customers to purchase products directly from the brand online. According to its announcement, made available on the first-party e-commerce platform include the full range of Canon’s latest products such as its cameras, lenses, printers, consumables and even other electronics.
The company says the goal of introducing its E-Store locally is to bring its products closer to the customer by providing them with product genuinity, quality assurance, 24/7 availability, doorstep delivery, and after-sales warranties. For payment methods, Canon says its platform accepts credit cards, online banking, and Touch ‘n Go. And to commemorate the site’s launch, the company is currently offering discounts of up to 43% on selected products for a limited time, starting at 3pm today until 3pm on 25 August 2023.
After giving the site a quick look at the time of preparing this report, we find that the Canon E-Store is as standard as an e-commerce platform can get. Navigating around is fine and all, but looking for deals related to the promotion mentioned above can be a bit tricky. For instance, clicking on the camera promo banner on the homepage will bring you to a large list of products within the same category instead of highlighting the ones that are on sale. It is a bit of a nitpick, but the experience could’ve been better.
In any case, the Canon devices that are offered on sale later include the EOS 3000D, EOS 200D II and PowerShot SX70 HS for cameras, as well as the Pixma MG2577S, Pixma MG3070S, Pixma TS307 and Pixma BP6030w for printers. For your convenience, we’ve linked each of the aforementioned to their respective product pages. Based on the launch’s promo image (shown above), there’s a chance that even more products from the company will be offered on discount once the sale commences later at 3pm, so be sure to check the E-Store again by that time.
