Litrak Group has officially announced during the weekend that all four of its highways, namely KESAS, SPRINT, LDP and the Smart Expressway, have begun testing the open payment system (OPS). It’s also worth noting that several road users prior to this have already reported on X regarding the activation of the MyDebit terminals on each aforementioned highway before the company’s announcement.
Much like its implementation on MEX earlier this month, the OPS gives users the ability to pay tolls on KESAS, SPRINT, LDP and Smart with their debit or credit cards instead of relying on the Touch ‘n Go (TnG) system. According to Litrak, the installed terminals currently accept only payments through Mastercard, VISA and MyDebit, while it has been reported that alternative cashless methods such as through Apple Pay or Samsung Pay are compatible as well. E-wallet services, however, are still not supported just yet.

Since the system is still in its testing phase, keep in mind that not all lanes at the four aforementioned highways are accepting payments through OPS. Those who wish to give it a try should look out for the specific test lanes where the MyDebit terminals are installed, which are indicated by the signages above them.

In case you missed it; KESAS, SPRINT, LDP, Smart Expressway and MEX are among the 12 highways in Peninsular Malaysia that are confirmed to be implementing OPS next month. The other highways that are also taking part include the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA), New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Penang Bridge (JPP), Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE), and Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE). According to works minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, the system will cover a total of 31 toll plazas and 81 lanes upon implementation.
