Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) has partnered with Touch ‘n Go eWallet to enable users to have easier digital access to unit trust funds. This collaboration means that e-wallet users can quickly and directly make an investment in any of ASNB’s 17 unit trusts alongside GOinvest’s nine existing unit trusts.
The 17 funds include a mix of fixed-price and variable-price funds including ASB, ASB 2, ASB 3 Didik, ASM, ASM 2 Wawasan, ASM 3, and the various Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) funds. Through the e-wallet, users can access their ASNB account as well as their dependents’ to view their last five transactions as well as top-up existing funds and invest in new funds.
What you can’t do through the e-wallet is redeem your investment or even create an ASNB account. To do either, you’ll have to use the ASNB app or go to the counters of ASNB, its agents, or banks. For fees, TnG charges a RM1 service fee every time you invest in a fixed-price fund and a sales charge of between 1% to 2% for variable-price funds.
The minimum investment you can make for any of the funds is RM10. To encourage its users to invest, TnG is currently offering cashback rewards for those who subscribe through the app until 8 October 2023. Users will get a RM1 cashback when they invest RM10 in any ASNB fund and a bonus RM10 cashback for investments of more than RM500 in any variable-price fund.
