The HONOR Watch 4 was unveiled in China last month and more recently, it was made available in Europe. Now it seems that the new smartwatch might also be making its way here as it has already received SIRIM certification.
Listed with the model number TMA-B19, the wearable received its approval almost a month ago in early July. The brand has not made any announcements about a Malaysian launch, so it’s still too early to tell when exactly it might make its local debut.
The Watch 4 sports a large 1.75-inch 450×390 AMOLED with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and the body itself comes with a 5 ATM waterproof rating. In China, the watch has eSIM and Wi-Fi support for connectivity but in Europe, these two features are notably missing with only Bluetooth 5.2 to connect to the phone. It will be interesting to see which variant will be sold here.
In regards to health and fitness, it comes with the usual sensors to monitor a user’s heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, sleep quality, and more, along with built-in GPS. Powering it is a 451mAh battery with a promise of 14-days of typical usage. For reference, the Watch 4 is priced in Europe at EU149.90 (~RM747).
