The Tecno Pova 5 Pro has officially been launched after the Pova 5 series was first announced last month. Being the highest-end model of the budget lineup, the Pro offers much better specs than its vanilla counterpart and even offers a premium feature in its design.
The Pova 5 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the back, you’ll find some RGB light strips that can be used for notifications, in-game actions, and charging effects, similar to what we’ve seen in Nothing phones. It ships with HiOS 13 based on Android 13.
Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and even a 3.5mm audio jack.
Photography-wise, the back of the Pova 5 Pro features a 50MP main camera alongside a depth sensor, while the front houses a 16MP selfie shooter. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W charging and 10W reverse charging.
While the vanilla Pova 5 has already been released in Malaysia, there is no word yet from the company on whether or not the Pro version will be coming here. For reference, it is priced at Rp2,949,000 (~RM884) in Indonesia)
